The score · the verdict, every day since 2021

Market score over time: how healthy is crypto?

The same 0 to 100 score as the gauge, every day since Nov 2021, smoothed over five days. Green above the midpoint, red below; the price above takes the same colour. Below: what happened after the score entered each band.
Score breadth · how many coins are strong, read over months

Score breadth: how many coins are strong vs weak

The score above is the average. This counts coins: every day, how many score 60 or more (strong) minus how many score under 40 (weak). Strength spread across many coins is healthier than a few big coins carrying the average. Below: what happened after the count entered each group.
What's driving the score

Two breadth indicators

These count how many coins are participating. They explain the score; they do not override it. Read them like RSI or MACD under a price chart.

Indicator 1 · daily trend checks, read over months

Trend checks: how many coins are trending up

Every day, the number of coins with at least 3 of 5 trend checks pointing up (Uptrends) minus the number pointing down (Downtrends). Above zero most coins are trending up, below zero most are trending down.
Indicator 2 · hourly trading rules, read over weeks

Trading rules: how many coins are in a buy

Every hour, the number of coins whose own trading rule is in a Buy minus the number in a Sell. Above zero the rules lean bullish, below zero bearish. The 6M and longer views step to daily bars.

Volume Fusion Pro

Every coin has its own rule, fitted to that coin, built on two volume readings: net buying volume across several bar sizes against its own trend line, and a smoothed volume oscillator on the coin's bar size that has to agree. The rule is long, short or flat, and it is checked every hour on its own bar size. This is what sets each coin's BUY / SELL / WAITING badge. It is not a basket strategy with an equity curve to follow; it is a window into what each fit is doing.

Every fitted coin

Green is long, red is short, amber is flat. Tap a coin to see its fit on the chart.

The fit, on its own bars

Every bar since 2021 on the bar size this coin's fit actually trades, with the exact signals: green while long, red while short, amber while flat. Triangles are entries, rings are exits. Below, the two things the fit watches: the net buying volume line against its trend, coloured by which side it is on, and the smoothed volume oscillator, whose sign has to agree before the fit will act. Use the arrows to flip through every coin.
